Giant Meatball
Tomato sauce
2 cups
Eggs

Bread crumbs
1 cup
Parmesan
1 cup
Onion
1
Ground veal
1.5 lbs.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

 

Cook 1 large chopped onion with olive oil in a pan stirring occasionally until light golden brown.

 

Mix 1.5 lbs of ground veal, 1 cup of bread crumbs, 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 2 eggs and the cooked onions. 

Add 1/2 cup water to the mixture-  it should be slightly wet and shape the meat mixture as a giant meatball. 

Add salt and pepper.

Cook the meatball in a large pan with olive oil until each side is golden brown (approx 5 min).

Transfer the meatball onto a baking pan and cook in the oven oven for 50 min.

Serve with the tomato sauce heated.
